All are welcome to join DecrimPovertyDC and coalition members for this free collaborative community art build. Movement Matters will guide us through a sonic grounding outside the library at 3:00 pm. Then we will go inside to paint a canvas banner with the theme “You can’t get well in a cell” that will be paraded at future DecrimPovertyDC events and actions. Other expressive art like a moveable altar will be featured alongside health resources, music, and food to take home.
